R. Brad Yarhouse is an animator and educator working in the United States at Kendall College of Art and Design teaching animation and digital media. His animation has been shown in festivals around the world, most recently in July at the Moving Media 2011 film festival, in Detroit, Michigan where his piece Wet Dreams took second place, in May at LES 24 HEURES DE L’ANIMATION in Brussels at the cinema NOVA, and in 2009 KAFI festival in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He took a second place in television commercial work at the 2007 KAFI festival and  In 2006  Beyond Freedom a short that he worked on with animation company, Trigger Fish in South Africa  was nominated for best short of the year at the BERLIN Film Festival.

In 2010 he presented a paper on William Kentridge at the Avanca Cinema Conference in Portugal.  In 2012 he traveled to Melbourne, Australia for the Society For Animation Studies 24^th annual conference to present his paper: Animation in the street: The seductive silence of Blu: An examination of his film Muto.
